What a delightful town. This very small port town transforms it self by night fall into a lovely symphony of lights, colours and sounds. The large citadel at the head of the cap that forms the entrance to this well protected harbour is imposing by day. But at light it serves as a wonderful backdrop to the busy restaurants and lively cafes that line the waterfront. Live music is played at numerous small bars and no tourist town would be complete without a loud disco joint. Fortunately in Bonifacio, either by decree or by common sense, the music is made to stop shortly after midnight allowing the rest of use to get a nights sleep.
