We dropped anchor our first night out of France (Corsica) in Sardinian waters on the small island of Madellena. The winds we stiff and holding on the weedy bottom was not great. The following morning we made our way to an adjacent island, passing another Amel-50 along the way (Paloma). This was a much better choice as we were well protected from the strong winds and the sandy bottom made anchoring easy and swimming particularity enjoyable. We had to share this lovely spot we a bevy large super yachts but I didn’t complain to them!

Here is a real first world problem for the Mega yacht set. When you need a helicopter to take to to your waiting yacht or need to replenish a dwindling shampaigne supply there are supper yacht supply ships that can follow you around to insure that everything is provided

The following morning we made our way headed south along the east coast of Sardinia. The plan was to hop along the coast line from anchorage to anchorage looking out for interesting and protected bays and eventually make our way to the the bottom coast of Sardinia and then to Cagliari from re-supply.
