Yep…we made it to Malta and dropped the hook on small bay outside of Valletta. The next morning we made our way to the small island of Kemmuna, located between the Main island and the smaller sister island of Gozo. We were looking for a spot to anchor that would protect us from the swell and winds that were predicted to change and be a nuisance. So we made our way to the popular and much recommended anchorage known as the blue lagoon or Blue Grotto laguna on the south end of Kemmuna. We weighed anchor early in the morning and headed to the anchorage in a bid to get there before 9:00am and hopefully find it empty at that time. This would allow us to find a ‘select’ spot to anchor.
